We built MyStageZone so that the most sensitive data — what happened during a shift — is deleted from our servers on a schedule, automatically, by design. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't build profiles of anyone's work history.
Walkthrough & signup requests: the name, role, venue, and email you submit — used only to contact you about MyStageZone access.
User profiles: what you choose to put in them. For performers: stage name, photos, style tags, music preferences, availability. Legal names are never displayed in the product; performer privacy controls are first-class.
Live shift data: while a shift runs, rotation state (who's checked in, queue order, statuses, request and tip entries) syncs through our servers to the devices in the room.
At shift close, an end-of-shift report is generated and delivered to the venue, the DJ, and each performer (her own activity only). Detailed shift data is then purged. Aggregate same-day counts survive until business-day close, then are purged too. Live sync rooms self-delete after 36 hours of inactivity. Backups age out on a short fixed cycle. After that, the data does not exist on our side — the venue's copy lives in the venue's own exported reports.
Access is role-based and enforced server-side. Performers and green-room displays never receive other performers' music picks, do-not-play lists, or style tags — that data is stripped from their network traffic, not just hidden on screen. DJs and managers see the operational data needed to run the shift.
We never sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We never process payments between users, so we hold no financial account data of yours from tipping. We never build cross-venue history of a performer's shifts. Public discovery of performers does not exist without a performer's explicit opt-in.
If we receive a valid legal preservation notice for a specific venue, purging is suspended for that venue as required by law. Because of our retention design, in most cases the honest answer to a data request is that the operational data no longer exists.
